Great. Little did parents know what was to come as the sixties and early seventies progressed with real promiscuity, defiance and that awful long long hair! Happy days. I really enjoy your blogs and it makes me homesick for Sri Lanka when I hear all your news, so I will hope to catch up with you when I return at the end of May. Many of the kids could have been me. Especially those from up t'north-- Northampton. I was 16 in 1960 and doing precisely as they were with the same problems. Soundtrack was terrific. Adam Faith AND Lonnie! Thought the joke shop beard was a bit over the top though. Kind regards and keep the Tropical Topics coming. Now that the "peace dividend" is bringing more tourists in to the country the mid-level places where I have always stayed are at present, in my view, ridiculously overpriced.
